Assunta Rossi

Assunta Rossi, 93, of Oregon, OH passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at her home. She was born November 10, 1921 to Dominic and Giacinta (Matonni) DeAngelis in Italy. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Eugene; grandson, Scott; sisters and brothers. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lucy (Harty) Ausel, Laura Brooks, Gina (James) Metcalf; grandchildren, Lorie, Mark, Harty J. Burton, Aaron, James; and 13 great grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Monday, August 17, 2015 from 2 pm to 8 pm at Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, OH 43616. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the funeral home with prayers at 9:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Epiphany of the Lord Parish at St. Stephen’s Church at 10:00 am.
