Ascenstion Rodriquez

John Rodriquez, age 73, of Sylvania, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2008. He was born in Lockhart, Texas on March 17, 1934 to Guadalupe and Alvina Gonzales Rodriguez. A member of Calvary Bible Chapel, John loved spending time at church. He also loved to garden and do yard work. John enjoyed watching westerns, listening to Elvis and gospel music, and taking his family and friends out to eat. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Joe Rodriquez; three brothers and two sisters. John is survived by his children, Millie Michael Hagwood, Lyle Rodriquez, Michael Rodriquez and Lisa Michael Rodriguez; siblings, Refugia Rodriguez, Rita Rodriguez, Felix Rodriguez, Antonio Linda Rodriguez and Evanjelena Nicolas Silva. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Calvary Bible Chapel, 3740 W. Alexis Rd, on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
