Arnold C. Dartt

Arnold C. Dartt, age 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, August 10, 2008. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 29, 1928 to Arnold and Josephine Erhman Dartt. Arnie was a Korean War Veteran who worked at Johns-Manville until his retirement in 1991. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help for 44 years, serving as an usher. Arnie was an avid golfer and bowler but his greatest passion was for his six grandchildren. He loved spending time and sharing a laugh with each of them. Arnie was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather and he will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Rose; son, Jeffery Rita; daughters, Karen Bryant and Diane Mike OHearn; grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Jenna, Brendan, Shannon, and Aidan; and special friend, Pat Sweetie Reinier. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jacquelyn, Norma Jean, and Jeanne Ann and son-in-law, Jerry Bryant. Friends may call on the family at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Sunday, August 17, from 3 to 8 pm with a rosary recited at 7:30 pm. Services will begin at the funeral home on Monday at 9:15 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Anthony Wayne Trail and Sherwood Avenue at 10 am.
