Arnold "A.J." Cullenen, 80, of Rossford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg.
A.J. was born on August 19, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio, to Berdell and Audrey (Culver) Cullenen. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps.
On October 9, 1981, A.J. married the love of his life, Josephine A. Borbania. Together, they shared 44 years of marriage and many cherished memories.
A.J. worked as a Master Millwright for Libbey Owen Ford until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of Word of Truth Church in Bowling Green and the Perrysburg American Legion, Post 28.
A.J. enjoyed building model airplanes and, most of all, spending time with his friends. He will be remembered for the friendships he made, the time he shared with those he loved, and the lasting impression he left on the lives of others.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
Along with his wife, A.J. is survived by his close friends, Greg (Audrey) Panning. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sandra Hill and brother, Alan Cullenen.
Friends and family will be received Friday, September 11, 2026 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, where funeral services will begin at 11:30. Burial will follow in Ft. Meigs Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in A.J.'s name to the Disabled Veterans Association. Condolences may be made online to the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
