Arline June Gaskalla Whiteside

Arline June Whiteside, 60, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Sunday, September 11, 2016, at H.B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. Arline was born on August 16, 1956, in Sandusky, OH. On August 08, 1991 in Port Clinton, OH, she married Francis James Whiteside and he survives. Arline was a prep cook for the Crows Nest for 19 years. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Port Clinton, OH. She walked every year to help raise money for Heartbeat of Ottawa County. Arline was a pro at playing Yahtzee. She loved making crafts, putting on yard sales, camping and fishing. Arline especially loved spending time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed. Survivors include: Loving Husband of 25 years: Francis James Whiteside; Son: Tony Fred (Michelle) Wallen; Daughters: Bobbijo June Whiteside and Jennifer Amajirionwu; Siblings: Belinda Gaskalla, Debbie (Raymond) Rayoum, Carol (Norm) Threhan, Alan Gaskalla, Jacqueline M. (James) Kingree, Betty (Terry) Wharton, Nancy (Mike) Seamon, Michael (Jeanine) Gaskalla; Sister-in-Law: Edith (Armondo) Santoya and many loving, Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Arline was preceded in death by her father: Dwight L. Gaskalla and mother: Mary E. (Roy) (Woodruff) Bolden. Visitation will be 6-8PM, Wednesday, September 14, 2016, in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Janet Reed at 11:00AM, Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sackett Cemetery, Marblehead, OH. Memorial donations in memory of Arline may be given to The Church of the Nazarene, 205 W. Fourth St., Port Clinton, OH 43452.
