Arlene Louise Kreger

KREGER ARLENE LOUISE Arlene Louise Kreger age 89 of Holland formerly of Toledo passed away on November 10, 2012 in Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek after a long battle with Parkinsons Disease. She was born to Martha and Henry Hoffman on July 3, 1923, living her early life in East Toledo where she was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She graduated from Whitney High School where she was the senior class president and later married William Kreger on May 31, 1947. They moved to the south end where she was active in Bethel Lutheran Church. She was a devoted, loving mother and homemaker and was actively involved in all her childrens activities. The widow of William Kreger she is also preceded in death by brothers Walter and Emil Hoffman and sister Eleanor Langendorfer. She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her twin sister Helene Emmert of Grand Blanc, MI.; children Diane Bruce Anderson of Troy, OH., Dr. James Marian Kreger of Sylvania, Dr. Ronald Mary Ellen Kreger of Portland, OR. and Jean Kreger Brian Hanson of White Bear Lake, MN.; grandsons Craig and Brian Anderson and Geoffrey Hanson; and step-grandchildren Heidi Schlegel and Hans Laura Schlegel. Friends may visit at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Monday from 3-8 PM. Further visitation will continue on Tuesday after 10 AM in Bethel Lutheran Church 1853 South Ave. Toledo, Ohio where funeral services will follow at 11 AM. Interment Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
