April Renae Foster

April Renae Foster was born June 23, 1973, to Steven Foster & Felicia Smith, both of Toledo, Oh. On August 28, 2022. She passed away in her home peacefully.

April attended Lady Field Catholic school. She attended Norte Dame high school for 3 years and graduated from Rogers High School in 1991. Later on in her life, April attended Owens Community College becoming a Registered Nurse with her Associates. She did not stop there she also went on to receive her bachelor’s degree from Spring Ann Arbor University and she was also working on her master’s degree and became a part of the Nurse’s Honor Society. She was an employee at Toledo hospital from 2007 to 2018 in the Peri-Operative Service Unit as a manager. On March 14, 2021, she became co-owner of Boogie Baked Goods LLC with her cousin Alecia Patterson. Recently April became an independent care provider.

One thing April did was live her life to the fullest. Always the life of the party filled with so much love and playfulness. A kind and gentle soul she was. She was a devoted mother to her 2 children who she loved immensely. She loved to be around family & close friends & they loved to be around her. Traveling the world & sightseeing was one of her favorite things to do. Always making friends whenever she went, she was truly a people person. She could light up any room she stepped in with her unforgettable smile & infectious laugh. She was a joy to be around & if you met her once you never forgot her. She was everyone’s doctor & personal therapist. She was passionate, goofy, loving & nurturing & she will truly be missed.

April leaves to cherish: Daughter, Breanna Burrell; Son, Bryce Kynard, mother; Felicia Smith, father; Steven Foster, (Theresa Edwards-Foster, mom); brother; Steven Foster, sister in law; Cosima Foster, brother; Kevin Comer, sister; Dionne, brother; Steven Edwards, sister; Lindsey Parker, nieces; Stevie Renae, Kyara Comer, Khy Comer, Eleanor Foster, Alize Bates, nephews; Ethan Foster, Kevin Comer Jr; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

She was proceeded in death by her grandparents; Burrow & Janet Alexander, grandmother; Nerita Foster, uncle; Jeffery Alexander, aunt; Susan Louise Foster & cousin; Tyler Evans.
