Antoinette “Toni” Hatzidakis-Porentas of Toledo, OH passed away on March 22, 2016 at St. Charles Hospital in Oregon. She was born on April 20, 1922 to Emmanuel and Vasilico (Reineris) Hatzidakis in Toledo, OH. Antoinette retired from the Chrysler Corporation and was a devoted homemaker. She was a member of the East Toledo Senior Center and the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Nicholas (Julie) Porentas, Georgia (George) Czerniawski, Cynthia (Randy) Liggett; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews that she dearly loved. Visitation will be held at Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, OH on Friday, March 25, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Trisagion Prayer Service at 5:30 pm. Funeral Services will take place Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church at 10:00 am followed by interment at Willow Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made in Antoinette’s name to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 749 N. Superior Street, Toledo, OH 43604. The Porentas family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Lutheran Home at Toledo Assisted Living for the kind and compassionate care that Antoinette received.
