Anthony Scott Williams

Anthony Scott Williams, 59, of Toledo, peacefully passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021, at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born in Hammond, IN to Billy and Patricia (Working) Williams on September 11, 1961. He proudly joined the U.S. Army where he served in Germany. Anthony met the love of his life, Donna Cook, in 2006 and two short years later they were married. He enjoyed fishing, refurbishing furniture, and NASCAR. He and Donna loved going to the various county fair demolition derbies and spending time with their daughters and granddaughters whenever possible and sitting around their fire pit on a nice evening. Anthony is survived by his wife, Donna; daughters, Elaina Murphy, Melissa Williams; granddaughters, Kaylie Sue, Patience Angel, Shailyn Marie, Serenity Ann; sister, Shawannie; one niece; five nephews; sisters-in-law, Dawn (Greg) Edwards, Danita Cook; parents-in-law, Paul and Katie Cook; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Stacy; beloved Grandma Working; brother-in-law, Gordon Cook; and beloved dog, Jazzy. Friends will be received on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, OH 43623 (419-841-2422). A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, September 11, 2021, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private. Memorial donations in Anthony’s name may be made to a local veteran association.
