Anthony J Rable, Jr.

Anthony J. Rable, Jr., 49, of Northwood, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Tony was born on March 11, 1969 to Anthony J. Rable, Sr. and Dianna “Donnie” K. (Jackson) Hillabrand in Toledo, Ohio. He was a Maintenance Supervisor for a wonderful company called American Campus Communities for over 6 years. He loved his job and coworkers and they treated him like family. He treasured attending his children’s sporting events, often attending three different activities a night after work. He enjoyed fishing off the pier, and taking trips with people he loved. He loved spending time and playing with his beloved grandson, Mason, and his dogs, Bear, Maggie, Mia and the late Buckeye. Tony was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, a Detroit Tiger’s fan and loved going on trips to get ice cream. Tony is survived by his children, Alyssa (Nathan) Sandwisch, Alex (Jacob Zieroff) Rable, Ashlyn Rable, and Anthony Rable, III ; parents Anthony (Kathy) Rable, Sr. and Dianna (Jim) Hillabrand; grandson, Mason Sandwisch; loving best friend and companion, Laura Rinehart; grandmother, MargyAnn Jackson; sister, Stacy (Patrick) Murphy; aunt and uncle, Vickie and Ron Brock; nephew, Troy Campbell, II; and cousin, Shannon Maltos. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifford Jackson, Dolores and Joseph Rable; and cousin, Niki Merrill. Friends will be received on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 1:00-8:00 p.m. at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Walbridge, Ohio (419-666-3121). Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 1:00 pm. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery, Millbury.
