Anthony Michael Mominee

Anthony Michael (Tony, Buster) died peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2016 at the Ohio Veteran’s Home. He was born 5/9/1947 to Roy and Lucile Mominee. Tony served two tours for the Army in Vietnam. He was a lifelong farmer in Curtice, Ohio who also worked at Hanson/France stone as a Plant Superintendent for 28 years. Always the life of the party, Buster was passionate about everything that he did, and went out of his way to help others, and share his passions with his family and friends including cooking, gardening, bowling, playing cards, coaching his kids, fishing, hunting, and volunteering at his Catholic Church. Tony is survived by his wife of 45 years, Shirley; son, Anthony Michael Mominee II (Nicole); daughter, Katherine Elena Mominee; son, Robert Allen Mominee II; grandson, Crosby Patrick Mominee; brother, Paul Mominee; sisters, Dee Birchfield, Theresa Ulrich (Gene), Linda Marcinko (Mike) and many beloved, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation: Friday, September 9, 2016 from 2-8 PM with a Rosary at 7 PM at Hoeflingers-Bolander Funeral Home in Oregon, OH. Funeral Mass is at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church in Genoa, OH Saturday, September 10, 2016 AT 11 AM after a procession from Hoeflinger-Bolander at 9:45 AM. In lieu of flowers share Tony’s love of soccer and children by making a donation to Immokalee Soccer School and Academy.
