Anthony Joseph Giovannucci

Tony J. Giovannucci passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 31, 1919 in Toledo, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Iole who he was married to for 66 years. Also preceded by his parents, brother Sam, sisters Anna, Amelia, Helen, and Jeanie, and their spouses, son Robert Giovannucci, and grandson Nicholas Ryan Rock. Tony was heartbroken since the passing of Iole on February 11, 2016 he often prayed to God for her and asked him to keep her safe until it was his time to be with them in heaven. He loved his Family very much. Surviving family : sister Marie Smith (Dick), children, Donna Greene, Rocco (Kim), Tonia Rock (Joe), grandchildren, Amy Greene, Dena Greene (Andre Vanterpool), Danielle Greene, Brandy Wardlow (JR Wayne), Andrew Giovannucci, TJ Rock, Nathan Rock (Jennie); his great grandchildren Willow Webb, Alexis Lemon, Bryce Wardlow, Nicholas Rock, Kaelyn Rock and host of nieces and nephews. Tony always lit up the room with his wonderful and humorous presence. He loved camping, fishing and most of all being with his family! No doubt he is with the Lord and Iole in heaven. Love you Dad forever! Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Epiphany of the Lord Parish (St Thomas Aquinas Church) 729 White St, Toledo Ohio 43605. Tony will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
