Anthony Burton

Anthony “Tony” Burton, age 58, of Holland passed away on May 10, 2012 in his home. Anthony was born in Ashland, Kentucky on May 31, 1953 to Bennett W. & Artie Mae (Blanton) Burton. He worked for the former Doehler Jarvis for over 20 years and then at Continental Security at the Toledo Airport. He enjoyed motorcycles, golfing, reading, an avid Cowboys fan and a master of Karaoke. A devoted son, father, grandfather, brother and friend he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving are his loving daughter, Erin Haney; grandson, Beckhem Haney; mother, Artie Mae Burton; brothers, Richard (Helen) Burton; James (Sue) Burton; Steven (Deb) Burton; John Burton; sisters, Diane (Pete) Herroon and Becky (Larry) Willeman. He was preceded in death by his father, Bennett and grandson, Ashton Robert-Alden Haney. Friends and family will be received in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) from 2-9 pm Wednesday where funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday May 17, 2012. Burial will be private. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the March of Dimes.
