Annette was involved with and was a past president of the Port Clinton Business and Professional Womens Club and the Thursday Study Club, as well as other civic organizations. Annette co-founded Ottawa Countys first daily newspaper The Daily News-the News half of the News-Herald, first radio station WRWR-FM, with a sister station WAWR-FM in Bowling Green named in her honor and first cable television system Cablevision Corporation of Ohio. She previously co-published the Ottawa County Exponent for many years. As a gracious and giving matriarch, Annette will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
