Annette M. Garvin

DREWYOR-GARVIN, Annette Michelle, 54, passed away on Sunday, July 30 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 29, 1962 to James and Eileen Drewyor, who have preceded Annette in death. She was also preceded in death by her Father-In-Law, J. Terrance Garvin. Annette grew up in the neighborhood called Trilby, the Secor and Alexis area. Annette is a 1981 graduate of Notre Dame Academy and a 1983 graduate of Lourdes University where she earned a degree in occupational therapy assistantship. Annette was an employee of Notre Dame Academy where she served as Executive Assistant to the President and Principal. This position was her dream job. She loved her family and enjoyed taking family vacations. She also enjoyed reading and arts & crafts (scrapbook making, counted cross-stitch, card making, and knitting). She was always positive and supportive to those around her. She was an exceptionally strong woman. Annette is survived by Denny, her loving husband of 31 years; their two sons Michael (Jenna) Garvin and Nicholas Garvin. She is also survived by her siblings: Dave (Sandy) Drewyor, Mike (Susan) Drewyor, Yvonne (Bob) Rado, and Therese (Andrew) Hoehn. Visitation will be at Walker Funeral Home 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, OH 43623 on Wednesday, August 2 from 2-9 PM. A funeral Mass will be at Corpus Christi 2955 Dorr St. Toledo, OH 43607 on Thursday, August 3 at 10 AM.
