Annabel Lee Shull Moore, 86, passed peacefully at home Saturday, March 26, 2011. She was born December 19, 1924 to Dorothy Eshelman Shull Dankert and Charles Dale Shull in Mishawaka, Indiana. Moving to Toledo at age five, Annabel was a 1941 graduate of Scott H.S. After graduating high school she attended Davis Business College. She married Ralph James Moore, Jr. in 1943, who preceded her in death in 1981. Annabel was a homemaker for their two children for many years. She was a Girl Scout leader at DeVeaux School until 1963. Later she spent over 20 years working at the Lion/Dillards store starting as a seamstress in the fabric department. Annabel was an avid traveler visiting many sites abroad and in the states. She enjoyed reading and playing bridge. She is survived by her loving family: sister, Virgie Del Schneider; daughter Jeri Matt Wiitala; son Raymond Moore; grandchildren Sarah Guy Schafer, Joanna Gary Kroll, Wendy Joe Gray, Garry Randall, Bruce Amy Wiitala, Mark Schneider and 12 great-grandchildren. The family will receive guests at Walker Funeral Home at 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., west of Corey Rd. Toledo, Ohio 43623 on Saturday, April 2nd at 1:00 p.m. a memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kitchen for the Poor at 630 Vance St., Toledo, Ohio 43604 or the Northwest Ohio Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at 4041 W. Sylvania Ave. LL6, Toledo, Ohio 43623.
