Anna K Newman

Anna K. Tutty Newman, age 85, of Maumee, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011 in St. Lukes Hospital. She was born April 12, 1926 in Tiffin, Ohio to Victor and Edith Hoerig Thom. Anna was a graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School. She was employed as a cashier at the former A & P Food Store for 20 years, retiring in 1978. Anna is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Edward Newman; sons, Robert Cathy and John Bonnie Newman; grandchildren, Matthew and Joshua Newman, Jessica James Harrington; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Free and special niece, Nora Jim Beutler. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her grandson, Jay Newman and sisters, Dorothy Logsdon and Edna Hartman. Friends may visit at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St. Maumee on Monday April 18, 2011 from 10:00 am until 1:00 PM. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm in the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church at 1:30 pm. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
