Anna H. Kocis

Anna H. Kocis, 95, of Genoa, OH, passed away on May 20, 2018. She was born in Toledo, OH, to parents, Vincent and Anna Fuleky. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Anna was employed by the Electric Autolite Co. in Toledo during WWII. It was there that she met her husband, Carl Kocis, and married in 1945. He preceded her in death in 1979. In later years, she worked at Luther Home of Mercy in Williston, OH, and retired from there in 1987. Anna was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her son and caregiver, Carl, her daughter, Phyllis and her husband, three granddaughters, one grandson and their spouses, five great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Anna was preceded in death by all of her siblings, who include five sisters and three brothers. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Thursday, May 24, 2018, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, OH. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home on Friday, May 25, 2018, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow in Clay Township Cemetery in Genoa, OH. Memorials for Anna may be directed to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 204 Main St., Genoa, OH 43430. The family wishes to thank Heartland Hospice of Fremont staff, who lovingly cared for Anna.
