Anna Kaiser, 94, of Elmore, died Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at the Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born on August 22, 1915 in Sterling, CO to Jacob and Catherine Komlofske Rollheiser. On January 18, 1936 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor, she married Theodore Kaiser, and he preceded her in death on November 22, 2001. Anna worked as a homemaker, farmer, and was the co-owner of Kaiser Meat Market. She was a longtime member and altar society member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor. Anna was voted Mrs. Ottawa County 1981 and was known for her award winning crocheted afghans. She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed baking crocheting, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anna is survived by her loving family: daughter: Elizabeth Ling of Oak Harbor; brother: Pete Rollheiser; sister: Rose Melvin Jensen of Elmore; 8 grandchildren: Pamela Alan McKean of Oak Harbor, Christine Jeff Opelt of Fremont, Michelle Jeff Stawiarski of Bowling Green, Stephanie Chris Gorsuch Williams of Northwood, Patrick Cindy Ling of Graytown, Lisa Jim Recker of Sandusky, Casey Tammy Kaiser of Rocky Ridge, Carrie Mike Roob of Oak Harbor and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son: Terrence M. Kaiser, infant sons: Paul Wilbur Kaiser and Theodore Kaiser, infant daughter: Katherine Kaiser, sisters: Katherine Fisher, Mary Beekman, and Emelia Layman, brothers: John, Joe, and Jake Rollheiser and son-in-law: William N. Ling. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 15, 2010 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor beginning with prayers offered at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 2-8 p.m., with family present from 2-4 6-8 p.m., at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Oak Harbor with a Parish Wake Service at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be in Limestone Cemetery, Graytown.
