Anna Davidson

Anna Davidson, age 84, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.  Anna was born April 17, 1931 in Mahan, WV to the late John and Ollie Mae (Jackson) Atkins.  She married James Davidson on August 18, 1956 in Logan, WV and he preceded her in death on August 26, 2014. Anna was a homemaker and a devout Christian, spending many hours studying her Bible.  She was a longtime member of Heritage Church of God in Maumee where she served on church council, assisted with Vacation Bible School and, along with her husband, helped design the new kitchen.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and will be remembered for her gentle, kind demeanor and the grace and strength with which she handled her illness. Anna is survived by her son, Roger K. (Donna); daughter, Pamela S. (Scott) Klem; four grandchildren, Dr. Ashley (Ian Howard) Davidson, Roger R.J. Davidson, Tyler and Tori Klem; brothers, Lee, Frank (Freda) and Gary Atkins; special friend, Marcia Thompson; and many nieces and nephews.  Two sisters, Geraldine Smith and Carless Knepper also preceded her in death. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2015.  Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Church of God, 3520 Strayer Rd., Maumee, OH 43537.
