Anna M. Chambers

Anna M. Chambers, 91, of Martin, Ohio, passed away, Wednesday, December 21, 2022, after a short illness, at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. She was born on December 8, 1931, to Martin and Mary (Ralbosky) Recny, on the family farm in Elmore, Ohio. She graduated from Harris-Elmore High School and on October 5, 1949, she married Marvin W. Chambers, in Clay Center, Ohio. Marvin preceded her in death on March 14, 1986.

Anna was a department head for F.W. Woolworth Company at the former Woodville Mall, Northwood, Ohio, for over 15 years. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Genoa for many years and was an avid vegetable gardener.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann (Bob) Margetin, son, Joseph Chambers, close friend, Priscilla “Ginger” Lehmann and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Marvin “Punk” Chambers and several siblings.

A private graveside service will be held at Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa. Memorial contributions may be directed to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 204 S. Main St., Genoa, OH 43430.
