Ann Marie Simpson

Annie Simpson age 70 of Monclova, OH passed away on Monday, March 12, 2012 in her home. Annie was born on September 29, 1941 in Sault Saint Marie, MI to Alvin and Mariann Bliss Kledzik. Annie was a Maumee High School graduate, class of 1959. She married Donald Simpson in 1960 and he preceded her in death. Annie was employed as a bartender at Timbers Bowling Lanes for 28 years and retired after meeting Duane Fuzzy Bauer who became her best friend. Annie and Fuzzy ran a horse and carriage business together, doing weddings, parades and funerals with big percheron horses. It was the best time of her life. Annie is survived by her companion of 20 years, Duane Fuzzy Bauer; daughter, Patti Doug Huffman; son, Mark Simpson; step-children, Tammy Doug Royer, Connie Kenny Biller and Craig Lori Bauer. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 1 step great -grandson; brother David Kledzik and her loyal dog, Toby. In addition to her parents and husband, Annie was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Utz and a brother, Allen Kledzik. Family and friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee on Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 10 am until the time of services at 11 am.
