Ann D. Micenec

Ann Delores Micenec, age 90, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Swan Point Nursing Home in Maumee, Ohio. She was the first-born of five children to John and Sophia Badak Micenec on April 19, 1923 in Toledo, Ohio. Ann was always on the go and loved to travel. She was a mother to everyone and would always be there to take care of family and friends. Her compassion and sense of humor will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Edward Micenec, Florence Lyczkowski, Fran Johnson, and Mary Fido; and special nephew, Bob Lyczkowski. Friends may gather at the Masion-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio on Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patricks of Heatherdowns, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, Ohio following the visitation at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Anns memory to St. Patricks.
