Ann V. Bowser

ANN VERONICA (BAHLS) BOWSER Ann V. Bowser, 76, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012 at her home. Ann was born July 7, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio to William and Frances (VanDuzan) Bahls. She married Donald F. Bowser in 1957 in Toledo and he preceded her in death on March 14, 2007. Ann enjoyed taking pictures, going to garage sales and collecting giraffes. She also enjoyed watching soap operas, especially Young and the Restless and The Bold and The Beautiful. However, her greatest love was taking care of her children and grandchildren. Ann’s legacy is her kindness and grace that touched and enriched the lives of all who knew her. Her quiet and unconditional way of loving is a gift she leaves and will live within all of us, always. Ann will be deeply missed by her family and friends who adored her. Ann is survived by her children, Pamela Lambert, Valerie (Michael) McCurdy, Donald (Patty) Bowser, Jr., John (Kristina) Bowser, Sharon (Thomas Turner) Bowser, Thomas Bowser, Sr., Ronald (Cory) Bowser, Jenny (Michael Blazey) Urbanowicz, Ann M. Bowser, JoAnn (Lorin) Lee and Gregory (Amy Patton) Bowser; twenty-one grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy McGarry, Carl (Connie) Bahls and Lydia (James) Eck and best friend, Roberta Ogden. Along with her husband Don, Ann was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mary Bahls, granddaughter, Krystal Dee Bowser and daughter-in-law, Angela Mendieta. Friends will be received Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 2-8 P.M. at Neville Funeral Home; 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) Prayers will be recited in the funeral home, Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 6149 Hill Ave, Toledo, Ohio 43615. Burial will follow in Springfield Township Cemetery.
