Ann Mary Bartosek

“I lived and I died.” Ann Mary Bartosek, 89, of Northwood, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 4, 2016. She was born in Toledo, Ohio to Thomas and Antonia (Roman) Petrucha. Ann married Emil L. Bartosek, who preceded her in death. Ann is originally from the Birmingham section of East Toledo and attended the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was part of the Czechoslovakia Society of America. Ann cherished the love of her friends and relatives. She enjoyed being active in school functions, as well as volunteering as a Teacher’s Aid in Northwood Public Schools. She also received satisfaction in working as a Sales Clerk at LaSalle’s. Ann is survived by her children, Patricia (Jake) Jacobs, of Northwood, Thomas (Carolyn) Bartosek, of East Bridgewater Massachusetts; grandchildren, John Jacobs III, Anthony Jacobs, Eva Jacobs, Nickole Tovatt, Cameron Jacobs, Emily Persson, Brian Bartosek; and numberous great-grandchildren. Ann and the family want to especially thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg for all of their wonderful help and kindness. In accordance with Ann’s wishes, no services will be held.
