Anita Jean Zimmerman

Anita Jean Zimmerman, age 68, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born in Ute, Iowa on October 27, 1949 to Wilbur M. and Ione J.( Nelsen) Olson. Anita was a graduate of Maumee High School and worked as a receptionist for 17 years at Harbor Behavioral Connections. She enjoyed playing cards, spending time with family and just enjoying life. Her family and friends were her life and she will be dearly missed. Anita is survived by her son, Al Zimmerman; siblings, Twila (Roger) Pugh, Gary (Kelly) Olson, Sheryl (Jerry) Gray and Teresa Terri (Chuck) Girardot. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Tasha, Aaron, Joel, Jeremy, Gary Jr., Nikki, Makenzie, Ryan, Trava and many extended family members. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, niece, Mylette and nephew, Cary. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, February 11, 2018 in the funeral home. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Susan G.
