Anita M. Sahr

Anita M. Sahr, 99, of Clay Center, Ohio, died Sunday, November 30, 2014, in the Orchard Villa Nursing Home, Oregon, Ohio. Anita was born in Martin, Ohio, on March 22, 1915, to Harmon F. and Marie C. (Jensen) Sahr. She worked for the former Toledo Scale in Toledo for 17 years retiring in 1976. Anita was a member of the Clay Center Presbyterian Church for many years. Survivors include her nephew, Gary (Jean) Bruner, nieces, Elaine Johnson and Janet (Paul) Gerity, eight great nieces and nephews, and twelve great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Esther V. Bruner, Bessie L. Sahr and Hermine F. Sahr. A funeral service for Anita will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2014. in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, 501 West St., Genoa, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in the Allen Township Cemetery, Williston, Ohio. It is suggested that memorial contributions for Anita be directed to the Allen-Clay Joint Fire District, 3155 N. Genoa-Clay Center Rd., Genoa, Ohio 43430; or the Clay Center Presbyterian Church, Clay Center, Ohio 43408.
