Anita K. Rakosky

Anita K. “Mitzi” Rakosky, 48, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Riverview Healthcare Center, Oak Harbor, OH, surrounded by her loving family. Mitzi was born on October 20, 1966 in Port Clinton, OH, the daughter of Paul and Lois (Wears) Rakosky. She worked as a cook for H. B. Magruder Hospital for over 7 years, Cisco & Charlies for 12 years and also at the Garden Resturant. She was a member of LaPointe United Methodist Church. Mitzi was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. The family enjoyed watching Sunday football games together. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Mother: Lois Rakosky; Sisters: Shawn (Dennis) Conard and Stacy (Pat) Wilkins; Nieces: Christina Conard and Alisha (Joseph) Mowel; Nephews: Jason Conard, Kyle Wilkins and Michael Wilkins and Great-Nephew: Alex Mowel. Mitzi was preceded in death by her father. Private Graveside Service will be held in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Mitzi may be given to Riverview Nursing Home or the Ottawa County Humane Society.
