Angella Jean Wright

Angella Jean Wright, 23, of Port Clinton, OH, went home to be with her Lord, Monday, April 8, 2013 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born January 29, 1990 in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of Crystal Boyd and James E. Wright, Sr. Angie graduated from Port Clinton High School in 2008 and was a 2012 graduate of Allegheny College, with a major in theatre and minor in psychology, and had served as a Resident Adviser and a Peer Leader. Her many activities included Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, Association for the Advancement of Black Culture, Student Environmental Theatre, Civic Orchestra, College Chorus, Student Art Society, Orchesis dance, International Club, Sojourners Christian Fellowship, and other organizations. She was employed at Sephora in Pittsburgh, PA. As a long-time employee of Tofts on Catawba, her infectious smile while working there warmed the hearts of many local residents and tourist. She was very involved in the PCHS drama club, Touch of Class Honors Choir, Orchestra and especially her love of the violin. She stayed involved with those passions at Allegheny College. Many groups, including Kappa Alpha Theta, at Allegheny College, celebrated her life Saturday, April 13 on campus. Angies close circle of friends have established a memorial fund to help her family with funeral and medical expenses, and would like to thank all who have contributed. Angie is survived by her mother, Crystal; brothers, Malcolm Robert Wright & James Wright, Jr; sister, Denise Wright; paternal grandmother, Jean Wright; aunts Robin Greg Vogel, Delora David Siennop, Donna Wright Donald, Rochelle Wright, Johnny Gaye, & Hosie Tramble; Godfather, Walt McKenna; special friend, Vincent McClellan; hundreds of friends; & her cat, Rupert. She was preceded in death by her father, James Wright. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12 noon, Thursday, April 18, 2013 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington St, Port Clinton, OH, where friends may call from 10:00am until time of service. Burial will follow in Christy Chapel Cemetery, Port Clinton.
