Angela Fillmore Gates

Angela Fillmore Gates, 40, of Rocky Ridge, Ohio, died Monday, April 30, 2012, at Stein Hospice Inpatient Unit, Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on January 28, 1972 in Fremont, Ohio, to Richard and Barbara Rook Fillmore. Angela had previously worked at Style Crest, Brush Wellman, and Whirlpool. She enjoyed horse riding, hunting, reading, camping, NASCAR, and bon fires. Angela is survived by her mom, Barbara Sturgis, dad, Richard Fillmore, step mom, Diane Fillmore, son, Richard Cody Blackford, daughter, Tiffany Fillmore, granddaughter, Brooke Lattimore, brothers, Ernie Fillmore and Bruce Fillmore, grandparents, Don and Doris Rook, nephews, Richard Fillmore and Fredric Peters, and partner, Jim Hartman. She was preceded in death by her infant brother, Richard Fillmore and grandmother, Beatrice Rook. Memorial services for Angela will be conducted by Pastor Paul Miller at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 3, 2012, at the Alliance Chapel, Oak Harbor, with visitation one hour prior to the services from 12 noon-1 p.m. at the church. There will be a bereavement meal after the service at the church; please bring a dish to share. Memorial contributions for Angela may be given to Stein Hospice, 1200 N. Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870. Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor, is assisting the family with arrangements.
