Angela Michelle Debner Burfield

Angela Burfield, 47, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, October 7, 2021. She was born on November 15, 1973, in Santa Clara, California to Gregory and Linda Debner; she was their firstborn child. Angela was a graduate of Sylvania Southview High School, Ohio University, Augsburg College and Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN. She worked for Minnesota Mental Health Clinics where she was a LICSW Holistic Psychotherapist, certified in integrative medicine and nutrition. She worked her entire career in the mental health field where her client’s mental health was always her passion. She leaves behind her adored 14-year-old son, David; mother, Linda; two sisters: Alissa (Kevin) and Amy (Christopher); two brothers, Adam (Emily) and Aaron (Nicole); eight nieces and nephews; former spouse and the father of David, Michael; special cousins; and countless friends and family. She was preceded in death by her dear father, Gregory; maternal grandparents, Willard and Amy Oehlke; paternal grandparents, Michael Debner and Helen Debner Springer; special Uncle, Mark Oehlke; and another dear Uncle, Michael George Debner. Angela was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Chaska, MN and was baptized on December 23, 1973, at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, San Jose, CA. Angela’s faith was both real and large. She leaves a legacy of love for all people, and a passion for this life and the next. She loved nature, music, the arts, beauty, and righteousness. She was a wonderful mother and a phenomenal cook. Her love for life will be missed by this world. Funeral services will be held at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 6517 Brint Road, Sylvania, OH, on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Her final resting place is Amboy Township Cemetery, Ohio.
