Angela Shawn Arebaugh, lovingly known as "Tigger," of Oak Harbor, Ohio, passed away on April 7, 2026, in the compassionate care of Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on March 13, 1963, in Port Clinton, Ohio, to Donald and Sandra (Shadoan) Arebaugh.
Angela graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1983. From a young age, she demonstrated a strong work ethic and independent spirit, running her own boat cleaning business, Angie's Cleaning Service, during high school and shortly thereafter. She later worked as a secretary at Davis-Besse before beginning a long and dedicated career in robot operations at Ford Motor Company in Sandusky, where she worked for 12 years.
Angela found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed needlepoint, crafts, crossword puzzles, and sudoku. She loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing for walleye and perch, boating, and participating in bowling leagues. Music was always a part of her life, particularly rock from the 1970s through the 1990s. Angela had a special love for Halloween, delighting in dressing up, attending parties, and watching children trick-or-treat. She also gave her time generously, volunteering at food banks and humane societies, including Dogs and Cats Forever, reflecting her deep compassion for others and her love of animals.
She is survived by her children, Brock (Britt) Arebaugh and Kane Arebaugh; her father, Donald Arebaugh; her stepmother, Patricia Arebaugh; her grandchildren, Brock "LB" Arebaugh Jr., Alexander Arebaugh, and Christopher Arebaugh; her stepgrandchild, Mya Braden; her brother, Gregory (Jennifer) Arebaugh; and her niece and nephew, Greg Arebaugh Jr. and Ren Arebaugh.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Shadoan, and her brother, Wayne Shadoan.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ottawa County Humane Society in Angela's honor.
