ANGELA “ANGEL” MARIE OVERHOLT Angel Overholt, 25, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 at her home in Port Clinton, Ohio. Angel was born January 26, 1995 in Toledo, Ohio. She graduated from Perrysburg High School in 2013 where she was co-Captain of the Swim Team her senior year and sang in many of the musicals. She attended Bowling Green State University and Lourdes University. Angel was a phlebotomist with the American Red Cross before working on her own recovery. Angel was a member of the AA Community and helped with the recovery program. She was a member of St. John XXIII Catholic Church where she was involved in the youth group, a server, and cantor. She enjoyed listening to music, baking, fitness and health, and raising her children. She also, enjoyed the arts and spending time at the water. Angel was extremely social and was always there for anyone who needed a shoulder to lean on. She is survived by her two children, Colton James Stickley and Claire Marie Stickley; her parents, Steven and Marla Overholt; siblings, Brittany Overholt (Nick Vallestero) and Justin Overholt; niece, Jadyn Overholt and her paternal grandparents, Francis and Helen Overholt and significant friends, Michael McCombs and Ryan Clifton. She was preceded in death by the father of Colton and Claire, Ryan Stickley and her maternal grandparents, LaMar and Louise Stout. Friends will be received Friday, August 14, 2020 from 3-8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Witzler-Shank Chapel, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133). A funeral mass will be held Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 10 a.m. at St. John XXIII, 24250 Dixie Highway, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551. Due to COVID 19, the funeral mass at St John XXIII will be open only to family and friends. Others may view the service live streamed at www.stjohn23.org/watch-live. Masks will be required at the funeral home as well as at the funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with a scholarship fund for Colton and Claire.
