ANDREW M. SCISSON Andrew M. Scisson, age 23, of Walbridge, died unexpectedly Sunday, July 24, 2011 in his residence. He was born on March 7, 1988 in Sarasota, FL. He was a 2007 graduate of Lake High School. Andrew was involved with Inclusive Solutions where he did day work. Andrew enjoyed programs at the Sunshine Children’s Home and the Anne Grady Center. He looked forward to attending Authentic Voices of America, a handicap camp for kids. Andrew was an avid sports fan who always cheered on his 3 favorite teams; Michigan, Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed watching a variety of tv shows, but was a huge fan of the cartoon Anime. Andrew enjoyed listening to his audio books especially Harry Potter and romance novels. He was a fan of good looking women and a good peanut butter milkshake, where sometimes they went hand in hand. He will forever be remembered for his kind heart, vivacious laugh, but most of all his gentle smile. He is survived by his father: James “Jim” Scisson, mother: Julie Good, siblings: Sarah Scisson, Richard (Lisa) Schoenegge, and Anjulee (Aaron) Kurth, grandparents, uncle: Robert Alvardo, as well as a host of many aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins, as well as his specially trained assistance dog Taylor. Friends will be received on Friday, July 29, 2011 from 2-9pm in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St. Walbridge (419-666-3121) where services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the family of Andrew to assist with funeral expenses. An additional memorial service honoring Andrew will be held at 6:00pm on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at St. George Orthodox Cathedral 738 Glenwood Rd. Rossford, Ohio.
