Andrew Joseph Rinaldi Jr.

Andrew "AJ" Rinaldi, Jr., passed away on April 27, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with colorectal cancer, surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Lima, Ohio, AJ lived a life full of faith, laughter, and deep love for those around him.

AJ was a devoted husband, father, and friend. On June 25, 2016, he married his best friend and the love of his life, Bailie, the two were truly two peas in a pod. His greatest joy was being a dad to his boys, whom he loved endlessly.

A proud graduate of Lima Senior High School, Class of 2004, AJ earned his Master of Education in Learning Design from Bowling Green State University and had a natural talent for technology. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, attending concerts, and was an avid runner, participating in multiple 3K and 10K races to raise awareness for Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare skin disease his youngest son bravely lives with.

He faithfully served at church on the Production Team and in Car Clinic, always using his gifts to help others.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bailie Rinaldi (Perrysburg); their beloved sons; Eli and Landon Rinaldi; Step-son, Xacary Hicks; his mother, Joyce Hall (Bowling Green) sibling; Andrea Rinaldi (Sidney); half-siblings; Kimberly (Brian) Adams (Lima); Gina (Matt) Bauman (Elida); Father-in-law, Scott (Rita) Ward (Worthington), brothers-in-law Scott (Megan) Ward, Aaron (Sam) Ward (Cincinnati); and many friends who will miss him deeply.

AJ is preceded in death by his father Andrew Rinaldi; half-brother Anthony "Tony" Rinaldi and mother-in-law V. Sue Ward.
