Andrea Alonzo

Andrea Alonzo age 64 of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022, at her home. She was born in Toledo on December 26, 1957, to Augustin and Mary Helen (Gonzalez) Alonzo.

Andrea lived her life for her family, and nothing brought her more joy than being an “Ita.” She never showed up empty handed when visiting her grandkids and loved attending their sporting events. Andrea enjoyed cooking, warm weather, festivals, and an ice-cold margarita. She will be remembered for her generosity, her kindness and being loud in the best of ways. Andrea attended St. Rose Catholic Church and was a member of Latins United.

Surviving are her daughters, Marguerite (Brian) Whitner and Marcianna (Derick Stoup) Cervantes; 4 grandchildren, Tanner, Landon, Lillian, and Cael; mother, Mary Helen Alonzo; siblings, Ernesto, Augustin (Maria), Alicia, Tomas, and Lucianna Alonzo, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her nephew Nicholas Alonzo, who was near and dear to her heart. She was preceded in death by her father, Augustin Alonzo.

Family and friends will be received at the Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 3-8 P.M. A scripture service will be held at 7:00 PM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Rose Catholic Church, Perrysburg. Andrea would not want her loved ones to mourn and be sad but would ask that everyone honor her memory with a good laugh, happy memories, and a cold drink.
