Anderson J. Plummer

Anderson J. “Andy” Plummer, age 61 of Sylvania passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at home. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 24, 1959. A graduate of the University of Toledo, he began his career as Plumbing and Electrical Buyer for the Andersons. Since 1990, he was employed with the Tansey Group where he was currently Vice-President of Sales. An avid fisherman, Andy enjoyed spending time at the family cottage in Canada and was a life-long Ohio State Buckeye fan. He also enjoyed golfing with friends and family. Preceded in death by his father, Jack Anderson Plummer, he is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jennifer (McQuade) Plummer; children, Anderson James (Chloe) Plummer, Emily Jeanne (Jamison) Chicolini and Abigail Jeanne (TJ Bogdan) Plummer; grandchildren Lilia, Ava and Jack; sister Susan Ruggley; and mother, Bette Plummer. Visitation and services are pending. The dates and times will be announced on the Walker website and Wednesday’s edition of the Blade. Due to COVID, masks and social distancing will be observed and the family understands if you are uncomfortable in attending but thank you for thinking of them. Visitation will begin after 4 PM Wednesday at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey) where a sharing of memories will follow at 7 PM. Interment will be private. Due to COVID, facial coverings are required and social distancing will be observed. The family suggests memorials to the University of Toledo Athletic Department or any local sports organization of the donor’s choice.
