Ancora Luz Mendoza

Ancora Luz means another light, which is what Ancora Luz Mendoza was to her family and friends throughout her eight and a half years life.  She was born December 26, 2005 with Arc Syndrome, just like her older brother Marcos.  She died August 30, 2014. Ancora loved school, art, dressing up and adventure.  She always had her makeup and nail polish.  She also enjoyed taking simple trips to the store and her big trip to Disney World.  Ancora loved to laugh and interact with people, befriending them and capturing their hearts. She was preceded in death by brother, Marcos. Ancora is survived by her parents, Rachael (Coronado) and Nicolas; and siblings, Miguel, Isabella and Gabriel. The many prayers spoken on her behalf are deeply appreciated, as is the hard work of the medical and support staff at Mott Childrens Hospital in Ann Arbor. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00 noon in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.).  Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
