Anasuya Katrapati

Anasuya Katrapati, age 88, died peacefully in the presence of her family on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Flower Hospital in Sylvania, OH. Anasuya was born and raised in a small town in India. She spent most of her life in Guntur, India after marrying Katrapati Lakshmi Narasimham, who was a leading attorney, to whom she was married to for over 50 years. She immigrated to the United States in 1989 and spent the remainder of her life in Michigan and Ohio. Anasuya is survived by her six children spouse, Sarma Rama, Prasad Pushpa, Syam Sundar Parvathi, Indira late Gopalakrishna Murthy, Prasanna V.B.K. Rao, Sailaja D.V. Rao and 13 grandchildren. She was the core of the Katrapati Family and dedicated her life to the well being of her family. She was loved by all those who came to know her, and her kindness was evident in the way she spent her life trying to help the less fortunate. Anasuya will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kindness, love, and dedication to her family.
