Amy Lynn Stephenson

Amy Lynn Stephenson, age 52, passed away December 7th 2021 in her Toledo home with her beloved dog Justice by her side. Those left to cherish her memory include her mother Christine Leighton, father Tom Stephenson, stepfather David Leighton Sr., stepmother Sue Stephenson, her siblings Sean (Elle) Stephenson, Jamie Leighton, David Leighton Jr., along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Amy graduated from Maumee High School and received her Associate’s Degree from the University of Toledo. Her love for animals was apparent by her dedication to the many pets she owned throughout her lifetime. No one who met Amy forgot her wit, passion, sass, and sense of humor. She was an avid reader, passionate about her trips to Hocking Hills with friends, travels to Amsterdam, her love for music, local festivals, and the comfort of home. Services will be private and held for the family. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, any remembrances be given in Amy’s name to the Toledo Humane Society.
