Amy M. (Ashton) Claus, 49, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at her residence. She was born on May 14, 1970 in Sandusky, Ohio, the daughter of Tom and Sue (Soski) Ashton. Survivors include her children, Mikayla, Andrew & Marissa Claus; father, Tom (Denise) Ashton; sister, Heidi (Mike Connode) Ashton; step-brothers, Josh (Tiffany) Reese and Tim (Kayla) Joseph; nieces, Addy & Chey; nephew, Logan; aunts & uncles, Becky Rodriguez, Mike (Vickie) Ashton, Dave (Teresa) Ashton, Pat Ashton, Tammy Ashton, John (Sherry) Ashton, Steve (Sue) Ashton, Jamie (Ann) Ashton, Mark Soski, as well as many cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sue, as well as her grandparents. Per Amy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date.
