Amanda Kay Maxwell

Amanda Kay Maxwell, 43, passed away after a long extended illness. Amanda was born September 12, 1979 in Pontiac, Michigan to Benny and Christine (Mercer) Maxwell. Amanda was a 1998 graduate of Lake Orion High School. After high school she was a medical assistant for many years. She enjoyed bowling, watching any Detroit sports team and any game show. What she loved the most was spending time with her family. She loved and was loved by aunts, uncles and cousins. Nothing brought her more joy than her niece and nephew.

She is survived by her parents; brother, Benny (Angela) Maxwell, Jr.; niece, Maci Maxwell and nephew, Brady Maxwell.

Friends and family will be received Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) where visitation will continue from 12-1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Amanda’s name to the National Kidney Foundation.
