Alvin J Jones

Alvin J. Jones, 92, of Rossford, Ohio passed away October 7, 2022, at Kingston in Perrysburg. He was born in Carlton, Michigan on May 21, 1930, to Charles and Caroline (Kimble) Jones. Alvin was one of nine siblings.

Alvin served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a locomotive engineer for 50 yrs and retired from CSX. He enjoyed woodworking.

Alvin is survived by his daughters, Kathy (John) Uhler and Karen Jones; son, David (Sue) Jones; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; significant other, Nada Cook; brothers, Edward, Dale, and Richard; sisters, Lucille, Lillian, Evelyn, Ellen, and Madilyn.

Services for Alvin are private. He was entombed at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio. Arrangements were entrusted to Sujkowski Walker Funeral Home, Rossford, Ohio.
