Alvin Lee Blakeman, age 89, of Maumee, Ohio passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 in the Henderson House. He was born June 3, 1921 to Harold E. and Mary C. Rose Blakeman. Al was a US Army veteran serving during WWII in Europe as a MP. He was employed as a foreman for the Toledo Edison Company for 32 years and later owned the Music Box Bar for 8 years on Fassett and Miami Streets. Al was a lifetime member and past commander of the Arthur Daly American Legion Post 334. The widower of Dorothy Blakeman who passed away February 15, 2007, Al is survived by his son, Daniel Diane Blakeman; daughter, Marion Tom; son-in-law, Bruce Trefsger; grandchildren, Lisa Dave, Amy, Jacob, Lucas Jill, Holly and Jack; great granddaughter, Kailyn; brothers, Ed, Neil, Leo and Floyd Blakeman. In addition to his parents and wife, Al was preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn Sue; sister, Ruth Goldi; and brothers, Grant, Kenny and Don Blakeman. For the past 3
