Alton F. Lambert

Alton Lambert, 83, of Curtice, OH, passed away Wednesday, July 04, 2012 at his residence. Alton was born on March 08, 1929 in Marblehead, OH, the son of Fredrick Louis and Laurel Wilma Kilken Lambert. He married Janis Patchett and she preceded him in death in 1997. Alton was a foreman for Uniroyal until his retirement. He also worked for the Port Clinton Police Department in the 1950s. He and Janis loved to square dance. Alton was a veteran of the 101st Airborne serving during the Korean War. He was a lifelong hunter and member of the NRA. Survivors include: Daughter: Ruthann Daniels-Hartis of CA; Son: Gregory Lambert of Curtice, OH; 6 Grandchildren; 20 Great-Grandchildren and Sister: Elaine Macky of Marblehead, OH. Alton was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother: Richard Lambert. Visitation will be from 10AM to 11AM, Monday, July 09, 2012 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00AM. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial donations in memory of Alton may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
