Aloysius Papa Guziolek

Aloysius Papa Guziolek, 72, died on Friday, February 9, 2018 at St. Anne Hospital. AL was born in Toledo on March 16, 1945 to Aloysius Ollie and Cecelia Guziolek. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the VFW Post 2898. Al retired from GM Powertrian Toledo as a job setter after 42 years of service. Aloysius is survived by his children, Cheryl (Thomas) Deneve, Aloysius Guzioek Jr., Mark (Valerie) Nowak, Michael Guziolek, John (Angela) Nowak and Kristen (Earl) Kynard; 9 grandchildren; sisters, Pat and Phyllis; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Angeline; and sisters, Darlene and Barbara. Visitation will take place at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, OH 43623 on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 2 until 8 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home on Thursday and proceed to Christ the King Church for 10 a.m. Funeral Mass.
