Alma C. Puestow

Alma C. Puestow, 92, of Oak Harbor, OH, passed away, Thursday, January 05, 2012 at her residence. She was born on May 28, 1919, at home in Oak Harbor, the daughter of Henry and Catherine Behnken Burmeister. On February 22, 1941, she married Edwin Puestow and he preceded her in death on March 14, 1996. Alma worked as a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor, Oh and a member of the Sarah Circle. She loved quilting, flowers and family photos. Her family was very important to her. Alma will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Daughters: Carole Robert Jess of Shelby, OH and Linda Kenneth Bolay of Oak Harbor, OH; Son: Ronald Doris Puestow of Hutchinson, KS; 7 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren. Alma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Carl, Rollin, Irvin and Clarence Butch Burmeister, an infant sister and 1 grandchild. Visitation will be 2-8PM, Monday, January 9, 2012 in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Oak Harbor, OH, with family present from 2-4 6-8PM. Funeral services will be conducted by Reverend Cheryl Wessel at 11:00AM, Tuesday, January 10 in St. Paul Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Roose Cemetery, Oak Harbor, OH.
