Alma Meyer

Alma Meyer died peacefully Sunday, December 30, 2007 in the Elizabeth Scott Care Center surrounded by her loving family. Alma, the daughter of Karl R. Oberhaus and Ida K. Buchenburg was born on July 26, 1916 in Napoleon, OH on the farm. She was the third of nine brothers and sisters. She married Albert H. Meyer on April 18, 1936. He preceded her in death on November 22, 1991. Alma was the cook for Huenefeld Nursing Home for many years. She then became a salesperson in the yard goods department of JC Penney for 20 years, retiring in 1984. Alma enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling with her husband. In her spare time, she also enjoyed riding her tricycle through her neighborhood, gardening and sewing. She was a member of St. Paul
