Alma L Hurt

Alma L. Hurt, 86, of Maumee, OH passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at St. Lukes Hospital. She was born October 18, 1921 in McComb, Ohio to Lloyd and Ada Farthing Everingham. Alma was a Nurse for the Toledo Hospital for 23 years, retiring in 1985. A loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Alma will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Her best friend, her husband of 59 years, Guy R. Hurt, Jr., passed away July 13, 2003. Together they enjoyed their loving family: Alma is survived by her loving family; daughter, Susan L. James Ingram; sons, Michael S. Hurt and Mark B. Deborah Hurt; 5 grandchildren: Brittany Hurt, Brooke Hurt, Jennifer Jeff Moore , Cheryl Jeffrey Padgett, Mellisa Richard Lampkin and 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Janice Swan and brother, Lloyd W. Everingham. Her life will be celebrated and honored by her family during a private ceremony.
