Alma Gonya

Alma Gonya 93, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away peacefully, Monday, January 12, 2015 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Alma was born on April 07, 1921in Paintsville, KY, the daughter of Arlando and Virgie (Castle) Brooks. Alma’s hobbies were cooking and cleaning. She enjoyed watching television and cleaning. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Daughters: Evania Nichols-Vargo, Jeri Fleming, Linda Adkins; Sons: Maurice Nichols, Delbert Nichols and preceded in death by Robert Nichols; 10 Grandchildren; 20 Great-Grandchildren and 23 Great-Great-Grandchildren, 2 Grand Dogs and 1 Horse. Visitation will be 5-7pm, Thursday, January 15, 2015 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 10:00am, Friday, January 16, 2015 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.
